Yoga & SUP Yoga
Wake up your inner being and create joy through the practice of Yoga at Tambor Tropical. Our Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes offer an experience of Asana practice, chakra chanting, color meditation and touch relaxation. Our lessons take place either in our yoga rancho or on the beach. Looking to do SUP Yoga? Our certified instructor from Tambor Yoga, offer lessons on request that take place in the calm waters of Tambor Bay. This popular yoga-fitness fusion involves practicing classic yoga poses while floating on a paddleboard in the middle of the water. It’s far easier to find that center floating on the calm waters of Tambor , than in a crowded, yoga class. Best of all, falling from your board can be a fun and quick way to cool off!
Ride into Tambor’s Backcountry
Tambor’s horseback riding adventures begin on the property with a local guide riding up the beach with your horse. Enjoy an easy and exhilarating ride into the Tambor Rainforest, crossing shallow rivers, cantering down paths and arriving at a pristine waterfall perfect for a cool swim. Along the way, you might see howler monkeys lounging overhead in the tree canopy, along with livestock and colorful birds. Horseback also is a great way to see the neighboring towns, farms and the natural beauty of the peninsula. If you can sit in a saddle, you can handle this ride. Options include guided tours of waterfalls, ocean views or coastal riding.
Zipline & Canopy Tour
Relish in the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the speed of travel. Enjoy a half-day’s worth of heart-racing fun with professional guides on both ends while hurtling over and through the jungle’s tree canopy. Make your final stop at the majestic Montezuma River, where an optional final test is a jump off the rocks into the refreshing water below. Just tell Tropical Tambor’s friendly office team to arrange it, and we’ll fit it into your itinerary.
NOTE: Guests must be able to climb flights of stairs and wear appropriate shoes.
Catch Your Next Meal
Let our crew arrange a boat tour or sport fishing adventure. Tambor Tropical can arrange boat tours, sport fishing, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling leaving from its beach or local dock. Fish include the incomparable yellow-fin tuna, barracuda, mackerel, jack, snapper, grouper, roosterfish (pez gallo) and other species. Some vendors will help you prepare your own catch for a meal or for Tambor Tropical’s chef to prepare to your specifications.
Arrange a Tee Time
Located just a few minutes from Tambor Tropical, you’ll find Los Delfines; a casual and friendly place to play nine holes and play them again for 18. It’s one of the few courses where you may find your swing mocked by the screeching of scarlet macaws or your play interrupted by whitetail deer crossing the fairway. The par-72 course can be deceptively challenging and a golf cart is mandatory. Don’t forget to pack proper golf attire which is required at all times when in the golf course facilities.
